A Stoneham landmark, since 1912 the former A.E. Finnegan Home for Funerals was merged with the McDonald Funeral Home of Wakefield in 2006. The facility underwent major renovations in 2007. A warm and comforting entry captures the essence of the home, as do the moldings and woodwork that have been preserved by the McDonald family.
The renovations include state-of-the art handicapped accessibility with a three-station elevator, large men’s and ladies lounges, a private family conference room and private family/clergy meeting room, along with two spacious and well-lit chapels.
