Adrienne (Lemos) St. Amand, age 88, of Stoneham, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in Winchester, MA.
She was born in Salinas, California on June 21, 1937 and was the beloved daughter of the late John and Lorene (Wylie) Lemos.
Adrienne attended Marquette University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree and met her future husband, Dr. Andrew St. Amand. Together they settled in Stoneham, MA where they raised their family. Adrienne devoted over 30 years to her work as a medical laboratory technologist at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, earning the respect and admiration of co-workers.
Adrienne lived a rich and active life. As a loving mother of six children, proud grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of nine, she was joyfully surrounded by family and the lively bustle that came with it. She treasured cheering for her Boston Red Sox, tending to her garden, reading, and gathering with family for holidays and celebrations.
Adrienne was the loving sister of Toni Maddox and the late John Maddox of California, John Lemos and his wife Linda of Oregon, and the late Father Tom Lemos of Notre Dame, Indiana. She is survived by her six children, Lorene and her husband Larry Russell of Stoneham, MA, Karen and her husband Ken Bauer of Reading, MA, Mark St. Amand and his wife Martha Parker of Northfield, MA, Kathy and her husband Steve Cloud of Portsmouth, RI, Carolyn and her late husband Tony Grieco of Haverhill, MA, and Michael St. Amand of Charleston, SC.
Adrienne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, strength, and joyful spirit will remain with us always, and her memory will be forever cherished.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Wednesday April 1 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday prior to the Mass from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
