Alice Doucette

Alice V. Doucette, 82 of Woburn, formerly of Wakefield died Sunday morning at the Bear Hill Nursing Center. Born in Reading, October 15, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Louis and Beulah (Grant) Ellis.

Mrs. Doucette was a graduate of Reading High School. She was a longtime Wakefield resident. Mrs. Doucette had worked for the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce, the American Mutual Insurance Co., and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Alice is survived by her 4 daughters; Susan A. Doucette of Woburn, Cynthia Tolley of Melrose, Janet O'Brien of Reading, Carol Roche of Framingham, her brother Thomas Ellis of Reading and her sister Beverly Wright of Reading. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren; E. Thomas and Daniel O'Brien and Sgt. Shawn Werder, US Army. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Werder, son in law Tom O'Brien, 2 brothers Robert and Ronald Ellis and her 2 sisters Tina Jacques and Bette Hole

The funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 4-8 PM.

Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
