Andrew Douglas "Ski" Glinski

Andrew Douglas “Ski” Glinski, age 45, of Lake Elsinore, CA formerly of Lynnfield, MA died October 31 in California. 

Born in Stoneham on October 16, 1978 he was the beloved son of Bruce and Maria (Cianci) Glinski of Lynnfield. He was the cherished brother of Michelle Tache’ and her husband Andrew of Berwick, ME and Marc Glinski of Lynnfield. He was the adoring uncle of Gunnar and Shelby Tache’ and Luca, Christian, Tory and Mia Glinski.

Andrew was raised in Lynnfield and graduated from Lynnfield High School in 1998. He found his way to southern California in 1999, where he had resided since that time. Upon settling in the Laguna Beach area, he took his lifelong passion for cars and turned it into a career. First opening Rise and Shine Mobile Detail which eventually evolved into Relic Detail & Coatings, located right on the Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach. His passion for cars was vast but he had a special passion for Jeeps, which he loved to use when he went off-roading. The southern California lifestyle spoke to Andrew and he thoroughly enjoyed surfing and skiing. His biggest love of all was his pets. He adored his beloved pig, Levi, his many turtles and his companions, Moose, Winter, Lil’Kim, Wolfeman and Taylor. 

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Saturday, November 18 at 10:30am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the church prior to the mass beginning at 9am. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield. 

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
