Ann Krzywicki

Ann S. Krzywicki (Buzun), 95 of Wakefield, formerly of Saugus, peacefully passed away at home on Monday, October 16th. She was the loving wife of the late Stanley A. Krzywicki and the Gold Star wife of Staff Sergeant Frank M. Buzun (KIA 1945). Born in Lynn on February 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ladislaus and Alexandra (Rutkowska) Toczydlowski.

Employed as a seamstress for many years, she supported the WWII war effort on the first US Jet Engine production lines at General Electric. A lifelong communicant of St. Michael's Church, she was an active parishioner; avidly involved with youth groups, religious societies, and social organizations for over 50 years. Ann was dedicated to her Family and was well known for helping others in need. Mrs. Krzywicki was particularly proud to serve as a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 56 Lynn, MA.

Mrs. Krzywicki is survived by four of her children and their spouses; Diane and Thomas Alfieri of Wakefield, Jim Krzywicki and Debra Scannell of Andover, Patricia Krzywicki and Raymond Bryant of Ashburnham and Mark and Patricia Krzywicki of Bristol, RI, and her daughter-in-law Joanne Buzun of Alpharetta, GA. She was the loving grandmother of Ania and Matthew Krzywicki of Andover, Lara and Annie Krzywicki of Bristol, RI, Laura Bennison of Alpharetta, GA, Brian Buzun of Atlanta, GA and Kathleen Caldarelli of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Krzywicki was predeceased by her son Richard C. Buzun, and her beloved grandson Thomas Alfieri Jr, her two brothers; Edward and Joseph Toczydlowski and her three sisters; Sophia Rydzewski, Frances Geddings and Florence Smith.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, MA at 10:00am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
