Ann M. Leonard, age 87 of Stoneham died Tuesday, August 5, 2025 in Winchester. She was born in Boston on November 5, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Martin J. and Bridget (Joyce) Keane. Ann was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Msgr. Ryan High School in Boston and later graduated from the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. That started her long career in Nursing in both hospitals and nursing homes. In retirement she enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing dominoes, and traveling extensively. She was also a member of Saint Patrick Church of Stoneham.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Burke Leonard. She was the loving mother of Sheila Orlandella and Joyce C. Muse and the late Bernie Leonard and Michelle Giarusso. She was the loving and devoted longtime partner of James Ragusa. She was the sister of James Keane, Mary Wyse and the late John and Edward Keane. She is also survived by her many grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham on Saturday August 9 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Saint Mary of the Annunciation Cemetery in Danvers. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham on Friday, August 8 from 4-7 p.m.
