Annie E. “Nancy” Lane, age 99, of Lynnfield formerly of Everett, MA died Wednesday, May 27 at the Jeffery and Susan Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody.
Born in Everett on September 2, 1926 she was the oldest daughter of the late Raymond J. and Ruth C. (Monahan) Puntoni.
Nancy was raised and educated in Everett. She had a long career starting at Market Forge and continuing throughout retirement as a member of the board at the Lynnfield Senior Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald A. Lane. She was the loving mother of Raymond J. Haneffant of Los Angelas, CA, Edward P. Haneffant of Sacrament, CA, Kenneth A. Lane of Cary, NC, and Albert F. Lane of Marblehead, MA. She was the oldest sister of the late Geraldine Trickett of Malden, Raymond Puntoni Jr. of Maynard, Ruth Ericson and Gerald Puntoni. She is also survived by her grandchildren Edward Haneffant Jr, Carmen Gargani, Elizabeth Haneffant, Jocelyn Lane, Griffin Lane, Tanner Lane, Ryleigh Lane and great-grandchildren Nico Gargani, Matteo Gargani and Bishop Blockton.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 AM followed by a burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery also in Stoneham. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
