, 91, of Wakefield formerly of Stoneham died Monday, May 4th at the Oosterman Rest Home in Melrose.
Born in Boston on February 26, 1918 he was the son of the late Angelo
M
. and Antonetta (Petecina)

Mr.
Cecere
was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Mr.
Cecere
had worked in the Boston Naval Shipyard and had retired from the Defense Supply Agency. He was a member of the D.A.V. and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Mr.
Cecere
was the husband of the late Frances
M
. (Saia). He is survived by his daughter Anita Kooken of Wakefield and his two grandchildren; Nicholas and Adam Kooken. Mr.
Cecere
is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his five brothers; Louis, John, Rico, Carmen and Frederick
Cecere
and also his sister Connstance Pierro.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 3-6pm.
Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
