He was born in Revere on January 1, 1935 and was the son of the late Louis and Josephine (Santosuosso) Orlandello.

Mr. Orlandello was raised in Revere and attended Revere High School where he was a former captain and stand-out member of the football team. He then went on to Tilton Academy in New Hampshire of which he was a very proud alum. He was a very active person and loved all sports and participated in many. He attended Suffolk University and in his fourth year left to take over the family restaurant business, “Cantina Italiano” of the North End. From there he and his cousins branched out into commercial real estate and built a career and forged relationships he was very proud of.

Mr. Orlandello was the ultimate provider for his family. He had homes in Lynnfield, Florida and Cape Cod, where he brought his family every summer. He loved to travel and to gamble and loved having fun. He had a great voice and loved to sing to anyone that was willing to listen. He also loved Revere Beach, and would tell everyone "That Revere beach was THE FIRST Public beach in America!”

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (Arena) with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. He was the loving father of Jane M. Orlandello and her partner Kathy Holden of Lynnfield, Lois E. Murphy of Lynnfield, and Toni Anne Harrison and her husband David of Boston. He was the former father-in-law of Matthew Murphy of Saugus. He was the adoring grandfather of Nicole Murphy Hunter and her husband Christopher Hunter, Julianne Murphy and her fiancé Kristos Regas, and Anthony Murphy. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Lee LaRosa and Eva Lanza.
