Arthur Ring

Arthur L . Ring , 97, of Wakefield died on Thursday, January 7 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Newport, New Hampshire on August 8, 1918, he was the son of the late Harold and Laura (Pinto) Ring .

Mr. Ring was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He was a retired draftsman from G.E. in Lynn. Mr. Ring enjoyed square dancing, golf and roller skating.

He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Musi) Ring . Mr. Ring is survived by his son Robert A. Ring and his wife Rolyn "Boo" of SC, his two daughters; Judith A. Hubbard and her husband Peter and Beverly M. Carney and her husband John all of Wakefield, his brother Harold Ring of Saugus, his two sisters; Shirley Waisnor and Lois Parr both of Wakefield and his Five grandchildren; Heather Carney, Karen Pearl, Susan Margerison, Jason Ring and Amy Bennett. He is also survived by his ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two brothers; Robert Ring and Theodore Berns.

Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Monday from 3-6pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
