Bette Brown

Bette A . Brown , 78, of Stoneham & Wilmington died Tuesday, December 20 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Stoneham on October 3, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Wilton H. and Doris (Leavitt) Morrison.

Mrs. Brown was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. She had served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Mrs. Brown was the wife of the late Walter J. Brown . She was the mother of Bette A . Mulford and her husband Thomas of Stoneham, Cheryl Lecomte of Stoneham, Carol Conley and her husband Edward and Paula McSheehy and her husband William all of Wilmington, Peter Brown of FL, and Theresa Larkin and her husband James of Derry, NH. She was the sister of Sally Malonson and James Morrison both of FL and the late Robert Morrison. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren Richard, Brian, Matthew, Tina, Jessica, Sarah, Christopher and Tyler her great grandson Luka.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 9 o'clock followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
