Bradley T. Kenney

With great sadness and much love, we mourn the loss of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Bradley T. Kenney of Wakefield, on September 5, 2026. Brad was born on September 9, 1940, in Concord, New Hampshire, the son of the late Louise (Kelliher) Kenney and Martyn Kenney. He was raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School, Class of 1958.

His greatest joy was his family. He married Anne Seymour in 1964 and loved her for 62 years with unwavering devotion. He was an active parishioner of St Joseph Parish in Wakefield, where he served in many roles over the years from teaching CCD to opening the church for early morning mass.

He had a passion for cars which he shared with his boys, teaching them while they rebuilt a car together. He also owned many exotic cars over the years. His greatest joy was being with his family, traveling with them, and sharing meals together. He also enjoyed many years of friendship with a group he fondly called the Stouthearted Men, visiting a pub with them one Friday a month.

He worked for over 50 years in the semiconductor industry, while simultaneously attending night school. He graduated from Boston College in 1976.

He is survived by his wife Anne Seymour Kenney; two sons, Thomas Kenney and his wife Kay of Marblehead, and Matthew Kenney and his wife Michelle Hynes of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Sarah Kenney Tullier (Brian) of South Portland, Oregon, Amanda Kenney Knackstedt (Dillon) of Wellington, Colorado, Aaron Kenney of Chicago, Illinois, Rachel Kenney of Marblehead, Emma Kenney-Hynes of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, and Anna Kenney-Hynes of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania; and two great grandchildren, Magnus and Edmund. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara LaFlamme of Ormond Beach, Florida.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday September 8 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Wednesday September 9 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
