Caesar J. Balzotti

Caesar J. Balzotti, a longtime resident of Lynnfield and formerly of Wakefield, and the beloved husband of Dawn M. (Nowlan) Balzotti, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 16, 1956, to the late Salvatore and Theresa (Marino) Balzotti. Caesar was an entrepreneur who owned and operated several construction companies, including Caesar’s Roofing, Inc., a business that held special meaning for him and reflected his commitment to excellence and the lasting impact he had on those he served.

Above all else, Caesar was a kind, loving, and dedicated husband and father. He cherished his family above all, forming a close, best-friend bond with his beloved wife, Dawn, and with his children, Brittany, Toni, and Caesar, Jr. He especially enjoyed his home in Oxford, Maine, where he loved taking family and friends out on the water, teaching them various watersports, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Known for his optimism, generosity, and larger-than-life personality, Caesar was always willing to help others whenever he had the opportunity. A supportive and encouraging father, he celebrated his children’s achievements and encouraged them to follow their dreams. His warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit made him the heart of his family and a friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply and dearly missed.

Besides his wife Dawn, he is survived by his loving children, Brittany R. Balzotti, Toni B. Balzotti, and Caesar J. Balzotti, Jr., all of Lynnfield; his siblings, Anthony Balzotti of Wakefield and Rita Ellen Balzotti and her fiancé, Lori Weber, of Chicago; his brother-in-law, Jeff Nowlan of Lynn; and his nephews, Christopher and Anthony Balzotti.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine, 47 Butler Avenue, Wakefield, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10AM. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be held privately.
