Carol Ann Cullen

Carol Cullen, age 77 of Stoneham, passed away after a long battle with dementia on Sunday October 18th at the Greenwood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Wakefield, MA.

Carol was born in Medford on March 25, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Stafford) Dempsey.

Carol was the beloved wife of Edward A. Cullen of Stoneham. She was the loving mother of Melanie Ostromecki and her husband Garrett of Acton, Jeff Cullen and his wife Sheila Foley of Stoneham, and Sean Cullen of West Roxbury. Carol was also the sister of Diane Wilkie and her husband Bill of Billerica, Robert Dempsey and his wife Denise of Burlington, Thomas Dempsey and his wife Kerry of Tewksbury as well as William Dempsey and his husband Michael of Norfork.

Carol is also survived by her 2 grandchildren Fiona and Rory.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham on Tuesday October 27 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street Stoneham on Tuesday prior to the Mass from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
