Carol E. (Dean) Parsons of Stoneham, formerly of Tewksbury, unexpectedly entered into peaceful sleep on Monday, AUGUST 4, 2025, at Lahey Hospital Burlington. She was 81 years old.
Carol was born in Everett, MA and lived there until she and her husband George moved with their two sons Eddie and Jeffrey to Tewksbury into her dream house on Leston Street.
Loving daughter of the late Elbren Dean and Dorothy (Jones) Dean; beloved wife for 25 years of the late George Parsons; Dear and Loving mother of Edward Parsons and his husband Angus Nolan of Wakefield and Jeffrey Parsons and his wife Kelly of Merrimack NH. She was the loving sister of Beverly Hall and her husband Barye, Susan Valente and her husband Danny, Tricia Harvey and her husband Paul and the late Robert Dean. As well as many many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins crossing many generations of family and loved them all.
It must be said that although she loved all her family there was one very special little boy that held the biggest space in her heart. That was her grandson Jeffrey Parsons Jr. He was the shining light in her life and to her that little boy was perfect and could do nothing wrong. She loved him with all her heart. When he was born her life got brighter and she enjoyed every moment she had with him. One of the very last things she said was please tell my grandson I will always love him even when I’m gone.
There will be a celebration service of Carol’s life at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5 Bryant Street, Wakefield on Saturday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. Carol made it clear when discussing her wishes that she did not want it to be a somber event. She wanted to be remembered with happiness and joy and requested people should wear bright colors. She was a great dresser who loved color and wanted it reflected at her remembrance.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be hosted in the parish hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choosing.
