Carolyn Staff

Carolyn A. Staff of No. Reading, a former Wakefield resident died peacefully at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on June 2 after a lengthy illness. She was 78 years of age. Born in Wakefield on July 5, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand & Mary (Wojtowicz) Kulacz. Mrs. Staff was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She had been a No. Reading resident for the past 33 years. She was retired as an office manager for Century Reproductions Company of Wilmington.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence J. Staff. She was the sister of Edward Kulacz & Eugenia Jack of Wakefield and the late Stanley, Emil, Henry, George & Mary Kulacz. She was also the aunt of Carolyn Kulig, Elizabeth Turner, Pamela Trojanowski, Deborah Kulacz, Elaine Stanley, Stanley Kulacz, Jr., Karen Morrell, Susan Schott, Cheryl Staff, Laurie Kelly, Michael & Thomas Staff and Jay and Michael Staff and the late David Kulacz. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Thursday at 10AM to be followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 11:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday 5-8 PM.
