Carrie (Kearney) Smith

Carrie Smith was born on August 31st, 1970. Carrie passed away Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.  She was born and raised in Stoneham, Massachusetts.  

She was the beloved mother of her son Nicholas Smith and her dog Buddy.  Carrie was the loving daughter of Wayne and Karen Kearney.  Sister of Jason Kearney of Wakefield.  Sister-in-law to Cheryl Smith. Survived by nieces and nephews Casey, Cash, Erica, Randy, and Ray.  

Carrie was a nurse for 30 years of her life with a true passion for helping others.  She was dedicated to family and friends.  She brought light into a room putting smiles on everyone’s faces.  Her favorite places were the beach, concerts, or going to see bands with her best friend, Angel.  Her memory, love, and laughter will live on forever and she will be missed greatly by all.

Her funeral service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday May 13, at 12 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
