Charles Mcginley

Charles A . McGinley , age 75 of Wakefield died Saturday May 31. Born in Boston on March 15, 1934 he was the son of the late James C. & Leona (Fougere) McGinley . Mr. McGinley was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School . He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U.S. Army from 1954 -1956 and later re-enlisted to the U.S. Air Force completing his service during Vietnam in 1962. Mr. McGinley had been a Wakefield resident since 1966. He was a retired manager for the New England Telephone Company. He was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenwood.

Mr. McGinley is survived by his wife Anita C. (Walkowski). One daughter Barbara Schroeder and her husband Peter of Wakefield and also his son Timothy McGinley and his wife Deborah of Kissimee, FL. He was also the brother of William of FL, Paul of NH, Bernard of MS, Terese of Tewksbury and the late James, Francis, Joseph, Vincent, Margaret & Elizabeth. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Logan & Eva Schroeder and Neila McGinley .

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. at 10:00. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in W. Peabody. Visitation at the funeral home will be Tuesday 4-8 PM.
