Charles A. Jankowski Jr.

Charles A. Jankowski Jr., 94, a longtime resident of Wakefield MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Born in Chelsea, MA on August 12, 1932. He was the son of the late Charles A. and Lillian (Schrimpf) Jankowski.

Charles was raised and attended school in Chelsea MA. He served in the Army over in Europe. Charles worked as a Supervisor in the Scrap Metal Industry. He was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed traveling across the country with his wife Joan and relatives.

Charles was the beloved husband of the late Joanna (Kravish) Jankowski. He was the loving father of John Jankowski and his wife Cheryl of New Ipswich, NH, Kathleen Can of Londonderry, NH, and predeceased son, Robert Jankowski and his wife, Jennifer Jankowski, of Burlington, MA. He was the brother of Mary Morelli of Danvers, MA, Paul Jankowski of Wakefield, MA and the late Lorraine Sian, Edward Jankowski, Ernest Jankowski, Richard Jankowski, and Jerry Jankowski. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Brittany, Zachary, Logan, Adam, and Matthew, and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine, (formerly known as St. Florence Church) 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield MA on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10 a.m.
