Cheryl Ann (Quinn) Harrington, age 77, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Wakefield MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 5, 2025, at Vitas Hospice, Naples, FL.
She was the wife of Brian F. Harrington, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.
Cheryl was born November 6, 1947, at Winchester Hospital. She attended St. Joseph’s school, where she was active in the church and the CYO. She attended Wakefield High School and went on to graduate from The Soldiers Home at Chelsea nursing program. Cheryl worked for many years in various nursing homes and hospitals until her retirement.
She is predeceased by her parents, Florence G. (Quinn) Lecourt and Andrew Quinn, stepfather Joseph Lecourt and brother William "Bill" Quinn and his wife Cheryle, of Chesapeake, VA.
Cheryl leaves behind her beloved siblings: sisters Pamela Lecourt, of Naples Florida and Patricia Dyer, and her husband, Ron, of Naples Florida, brothers Michael J Quinn and his wife Maria, of Marco Island, and John Lecourt of Cape Coral FL. Her cherished children, James Alden and his wife Lori, of Naples Maine, Laura Jankowski and her husband John of Stoneham, MA, Christina Harrington of Daytona Beach, FL, Kathleen Aliberti and her husband Michael of Danvers, Michael Harrington and his wife Janeen of Peabody, and Marianne Weil and her husband Jarrett, of Peabody. Cheryl is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends were extremely important to Cheryl, and she enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was hosting friends and family for holidays and get togethers, watching football, or sitting by a campfire. But her favorite place was any beach where she could nanny float, take long walks to collect shells, read a good book or her People magazine. Cheryl loved flowers and enjoyed spending time caring for her gardens. Cheryl also made time to drive the streets of Manchester NH providing food, blankets, and care packages to the homeless community in the area. Through all these things she made everyone that knew her for just a moment, or a lifetime, feel special.
In her retirement she found enjoyment through her volunteer work with Team OCEAN at the Rookery Bay Research Reserve in Naples FL and actively participating in the social activities at her condo association.
