Christine M. Curley

Christine M. Curley, age 84, of Wakefield passed away, peacefully, on June 15 at the Brightview Assisted Living in Wakefield.

Christine was born in Quincy on June 9, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Constance (Buttomer) Von Rhee.

She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Curley Insurance Agency of Wakefield.

She was the beloved wife of the late Col. Joseph A. Curley, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. They were partners for over six decades. She was predeceased by their daughter, Marybeth. She leaves behind two sons: Michael and his wife Melissa, Robert and his wife Stephanie. She also leaves grandchildren, Augustus Curley, Joshua and Matthew Canarelli, and Brynne and Seamus Curley.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday June 23, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org/get-involved-now/donate
