Christine Zack

Christine Elizabeth (Ellis) Zack originally from Wakefield MA, recently from Lexington MA, died under hospice care in her home in South Dartmouth, May 31, of pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband Michael Zack MD of South Dartmouth, and six younger siblings throughout the country. She was the eldest child of the late Dr. Donald Ellis and Mary Ann (Rich) Ellis.

She was a graduate of Our Lady of Nazareth Academy, North Shore Community College with honors, Salem State College receiving a Bachelor of Science, Regis College receiving a Master of Science in Nursing, and ultimately received a Nurse Practitioner Certification, as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received 2 Devlin Medical Scholarships during her training.

During her career she worked at MGH, Beth Israel, Brigham and Women's Hospitals and eventually specialized in Urgent Care in several clinics throughout greater Boston and Dartmouth MA. She loved living by the ocean for 23 years.

She was a tireless front line worker during the COVID pandemic up to the day of her cancer diagnosis in early April 2022. A voracious reader, with an unquenchable thirst for learning, a dedicated health care professional who loved medicine, an astute clinician, a valiant focused warrior of a patient, an extraordinarily beautiful woman. She was 70.
