Christopher J. Morris, age 60, of Methuen, passed away on July 14, 2026 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

He was born in Stoneham on December 13, 1965 and was the son of the late Robert and Cora (Mahoney) Morris.

Chris was raised in Woburn and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1983. Following high school, he began a career with Market Basket, where he has remained as a dedicated employee for the past 45 years, most recently serving as Manager. Chris was an avid golfer and spent most of his free time on the golf course. He occasionally enjoyed light travel and was a fan of the New England Patriots. In his younger years, Chris played hockey and softball.

He was the beloved husband of Erinet (Marbelt) Morris. He was the loving father of Timothy Morris of Dracut, Matthew Morris of Methuen, and Angeliris Cabrera of Methuen. He was the cherished brother of Peter Morris of Haverhill, Michael Morris and his wife Susan of Holbrook, Erin Rodriguez and her husband Ray of Woburn, Shaun Morris of Methuen, and the late Robert and Mark Morris. He is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham on Wednesday, July 22 from 10am-1pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Chris’ name may be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
