Claire M. Bonomo

Claire M. Bonomo (Cummings), 87 of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025.

She was born and raised in Melrose and became a resident of Wakefield when she married Joseph Bonomo in 1957. Claire was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She had a passion for cooking and sewing, and she loved gardening and reading.

Claire was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Edward Cummings, her husband Joseph and son-in-law Warren Ford.

Claire is survived by her daughters Laurie Hartnett and her husband John and Jeanne Ford, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday December 6 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
