Crisostomo Grieci

Crisostomo (Chris) Grieci, age 75, of Lynnfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27. He was surrounded by loved ones after bravely facing a period of declining health. Crisostomo was born in Venticano, Italy on March 3, 1949, to the late Angelo Michele and Nicolina (Piccirillo) Grieci. At the age of 17, he embarked on a journey to the United States, settling first in Everett and later making his home in Revere, before ultimately settling in Lynnfield.

A dedicated machinist by trade, Crisostomo worked for the Palmer Manufacturing Company of Malden before retiring. His craftsmanship extended beyond the workplace as he also pursued his passion for homebuilding, leaving behind a legacy of beautifully crafted homes in Lynnfield and Revere.

Crisostomo was a shining example of generosity and community spirit. He actively participated in the Lynnfield Lions Club and was a past President, where his contributions played a significant role.  Additionally, he was a member of the Appian Club of Stoneham.

Crisostomo will always be remembered as a devoted husband to Geraldine (Pagliuca) Grieci and as a loving brother to Raffaellina Mahogany and the late Remo Grieci.  He leaves behind his sister-in-law Raffaella (Amedeo) Iocco and was the uncle of Nicole (Ian) Kenney and Brandon Mahogany.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Crisostomo's life will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Sts., Lynnfield on Wednesday, April 3 at 10:00 am. Visitation for relatives and friends will take place at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.

In honoring Crisostomo’s legacy, contributions may be made to Lions Clubs International Foundation, Department 4547, Carol Stream, IL 60122-4547.
