David Russell

David M . Russell , 71, of Cape Ann died Friday, November 6 at the Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

Born in Peabody on January 11, 1944 he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Smith) Russell .

Mr. Russell was raised in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Tech. He had retired from General Electric in Lynn where he had worked as a machinist. Mr. Russell was a car enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was devoted to his family.

Mr. Russell was the husband of the late Sharon Russell . He is survived by his two sons: David C. Russell and Keith F. Russell , Sr., both of Gloucester and his daughter: Melanie Russell of Chicopee. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Katie Stanton and Keith Russell , Jr., as well as many cousins.

His Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 8:30am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Interment to follow at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
