Dawn K. Mahoney

Dawn K. Mahoney, age 64, of Somerville, passed away at her residence on August 20, 2024. She was born in Somerville on December 19, 1959 and was the daughter of Elizabeth M. (Marple) Mahoney of Cambridge and the late William J. Mahoney. 

Dawn was a generous, loving and creative person. She always thought of others with kindness and concern. In her teens she attended High Mowing School where she did some acting. She traveled around Europe and in the USA. Dawn worked for a while at Boston University's call center. She is greatly missed by her loving family.

Dawn is survived by her loving mother Elizabeth M. Mahoney, her aunts Katherine S. McDonnell and Florence E. Cripps, and cousins Darin and Jason McDonnell. 

Funeral Services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dawn’s name to: “McLean Hospital” for Schizophrenia Research
