Deborah A. Meuse

Deborah A. Meuse died on Thursday July 4th at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a long illness. She was 69 years old.

Debby was born on September 3rd 1954 in Boston MA and was the daughter of the late Mervyn and Concetta Landenburg (Lorino). She was raised in Charlestown and has been a resident of Wakefield since 1980. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Lawrence D. Meuse and was the loving mother of Crystal A. Atkinson and her husband John, Lawrence M. Meuse, Amanda M. Silvaggio and her husband Christopher. Debby was the sister of Josephine Donahue, Diane Isbart, Phil DeAngelo, Fred DeAngelo, the late Mervyn Landenburg Jr and the late Cheryl Landenburg. She was the loving grandmother to Thomas and Jacquelyn Carroll and Christopher Silvaggio Jr.

Deb attended Charlestown High but left school early due to the forced busing controversy of the time. She did daycare for different children while her own children were young so she could be at home with them. She also worked at CVS in Wakefield and at several hospitals around the Boston area as a support person. She loved her family and friends deeply and loved her pug Buddy. Deb was a great cook and loved nature (especially going to the beach). She also loved her July 4th cookouts that she had at her home for over 20 years which were attended by many family members and friends. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.

Her Funeral Services will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday July 10th at noon. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 10AM to noon.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
