Dennis M. McFall

Dennis M. McFall, 82, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Boston on December 2, 1943, Dennis was the beloved son of the late Robert E. and Mary C. (Goguen) McFall. He made Stoneham his home for more than 30 years, where he built a life centered on family, friendship, and community.

A graduate of Malden High School, Dennis enjoyed a long and successful career with General Motors, retiring as a manager after working in Framingham, New Jersey, and Ohio. Known for his strong work ethic and steady leadership, Dennis took pride in his profession and the relationships he formed along the way.

An active member of the Newburyport Elks, Dennis valued camaraderie and giving back. In his free time, he found joy on the golf course and took great satisfaction in caring for his yard—simple pleasures that brought him peace and happiness.

Above all, Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Potter) McFall; his children, William McFall and his wife Rebecca of Townsend, Christopher Meehan and his wife Laurie of Reading, Michael Meehan and his wife Rebecca of Topsfield, and Denise Lavargna of California; his sisters, Judy Donoghue of Malden and Shelia Rogers of Tewksbury; ten cherished grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Timothy McFall and Robert McFall.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dennis’s life at a Funeral Service held at McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Saturday, January 31, at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
