Diane L. Brown

Diane Brown, age 74, born on November 27, 1951 and passed away June 20, 2026. She is survived by her daughter Maryellen Brown and her wife Julia Brown. She is also survived by her niece Sherry Gibbons, husband Phil, her nephew Walter Brown and his partner Jackie.

She was loved by many family and friends. She was preceded by her loving parents Carl and May Bell. Diane loved her fur babies Daisey, Buddy, and Frankie. She lived in Wakefield the majority of her life before moving to Reading for many years, residing at Peter Sanborn Place.

She was a lifelong Unitarian Universalist. Diane worked at Citizens Bank Lock Box for many years. She will be remembered for love of family, her soaps, absolute book lover, love of animals, penguins, her smile, word search, baker and love of Hallmark movies.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, June 25 from 10am-12pm followed by a Graveside Service at Lakeside Cemetery, North Ave., Wakefield.
