Dolores M. Green, 89 a longtime resident of Stoneham died Sunday February 8, at Ellis Nursing and Rehab in Norwood.
Born in Boston, October 12, 1936, she was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Simms) Lambert.
Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Phillip S. Green. She was the loving mother of Rhonda Vercellini and her husband Robert of Norwood. Loving Sister of George (Sonny) Lambert and the late Marlene O’Leary. Cherished Step-Mother of David Green, Debbie Green and Scott MacKenzie. Also a grandmother and great grandmother to many.
Dolores was raised in Cambridge MA. She was a graduate of Cambridge Latin High School. Longtime retired from Cisco Systems and volunteered at American Red Cross. A proud supporter of many Veteran charities and an avid animal lover.
She lived a long life centered around family and friends; she never missed a birthday and was widely known for making Afghans and Baby Afghans. Her enthusiasm for holidays was magic and will be missed by those who know.
Her Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham, on Thursday February 19, at 12 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12.
Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to MSPCA and or The Parkinson's Assoc.
