Donald F. Booth, 79 of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025.
Donald was the beloved husband of Karen (Shipley) Booth, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage, partnership, and love. Together they built a life centered on family and enduring devotion.
He was one of seven children born to Walter and Edith (Mason) Booth, whose values of hard work and family shaped the man Donald became.
Donald was a proud and loving father to seven children: Timothy Booth, D. Jay Booth, Michael Booth, Thomas Booth, Kristine Booth, Craig Booth, and Katie (Booth) Harvey. He was a devoted grandfather to sixteen grandchildren and a joyful great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply and took great pride in.
Donald spent much of his working life in security alarm sales and installation, where he was known for his reliability and skill. He finalized his career with New Hampshire Signs in Auburn, New Hampshire, continuing to work with dedication until retirement.
In his personal life, Donald embraced learning, creativity, and adventure. He loved taking spontaneous weekend trips with his wife, Karen, always ready for a new experience. During retirement, he taught himself to play several musical instruments, including the piano, accordion, and dulcimer. He loved cooking for his family and he also developed a passion for photography, enjoying the art of capturing moments and everyday beauty.
Donald found great peace and satisfaction in gardening which he tended to with patience and pride. Above all, he cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and valued being surrounded by family.
Donald’s final years were spent in Londonderry, NH with his wife, Karen, alongside their son Thomas Booth and family.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday, January 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, at 11:00 a.m.
Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a social event at the Westside Social Club, Wakefield, Massachusetts.
Donald will be remembered for his kindness, creativity, love of learning, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him
