Donald F. Crosby, age 89, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026.

He was born on May 5, 1936 and was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Mahoney) Crosby.

Mr. Crosby was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. He was a longtime employee of Stoneham Ford and had retired as a service manager. For the past several years, he made his home in Londonderry, NH, and was a valued past member of the Moose Lodge of North Reading, MA.

Donald had a passion for outdoor activities, enjoying snowmobiling and camping, and he was an enthusiastic supporter of car racing, even serving as a car sponsor. His summers were often spent in Kennebunk, ME, where his residence became a gathering place for family clambakes, creating lasting memories with loved ones.

He was the beloved husband of the late Anne L. (Gross) Crosby. He was the loving father of Patricia L. Hein and her husband Scot of New Hampshire, Teresa M. Boccelli and her husband Peter of Florida, and Karen A. Ricci and her partner Kenny Johnson of Stoneham. He was the brother of the late Ernest Crosby and Joan Schneider. He was the adoring grandfather of Peter, Steve, Scot, Kathryn, Matthew, and the late William. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Friday, March 6 at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday, March 5 from 4-7pm. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
