Donald F. Hall, a long time Reading resident died September 29 at the Brooksby Village in Peabody. He was 95 years of age.

He was born in Swampscott, MA on March 19, 1930 and was the son of the late Lee and Rachel (Davis) Hall.

He was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. He went on to work for G.E. of Lynn and trained as an Engineer. He later worked for the Raytheon Corporation and retired from there as Manager of Financial Systems. As a Reading resident, he was a member of the Old South United Methodist Church. He was an active member the church and was a member of the choir. He later joined the West Methodist Church of Peabody. He was a noted handyman, enjoyed boats and was a member of the Barber Shop Quartet at Brooksby Village.

He was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Waitt) Hall. He was the loving father of Linda J. Michalek and the late Kevin L. Hall. He was the loving grandfather of Lindsy Morrison and her husband Daniel and Jessica Michalek and her husband John Simkus. He was the great grandfather of Oliver and Stella. He is also survived by his brother David Hall of Swampscott.

A Memorial gathering will be held the Chapel of Brooksby Village, 400 Brooksby Village Dr. Peabody on Monday October 6 from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
