Dorothy Henderson

Dorothy Mae Henderson of Richmond, KY and a former Wakefield resident died August 14 at age 93. Born in Chelsea on April 16, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Albert & Eliza (Wells) Frye. Mrs. Henderson was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She came to Wakefield in 1950 and was had been in Richmond, KY since 2005. She had been a member of the Wakefield Y.M.C.A. Womens's Auxilliary and had worked for many years at the Gift Shop of the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Mrs. Henderson was the wife of the late William Henderson . She is survived by her two sons, Douglas W. Henderson & his wife Nancy of Haverhill and Russell A. Henderson of Richmond, KY. She is also survived by her grandson David W. Henderson .

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Wednesday at 11:00 AM . Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 9 AM. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
