Edith Nestor

Edith A . Nestor , 85, of Wakefield died on Wednesday, November 6 at Radius Health Care in Danvers.

Born in Reading on February 2, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Rose (Doucette) Meuse.

Mrs. Nestor was a graduate of Reading High School. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 61 years. Mrs. Nestor was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.

She was the wife of the late Frank A . Nestor . Mrs. Nestor is survived by her two daughters; Janet Nestor of Wakefield and Cynthia Nestor Batson of Georgetown, Florida. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Nestor was predeceased by her three brothers; Leo Meuse, Ralph Meuse and Clarence Meuse and her five sisters; Louise Meuse, Evelyn Meuse, Theresa Meuse, Marion Meuse and Beatrice Porter.

Her funeral will be from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
