Edith Smith

Edith L . Smith , 93, of Lynnfield died on Wednesday, January 28 at her home.

Born in Everett on May 16, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Elenora (Rodenhiser) Ahlquist.

Mrs. Smith was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1933. She had been a Lynnfield resident for 50 years.

Mrs. Smith was the wife of the late David F. Smith . She was the sister of the late Carl, Ernest and Richard Ahlquist and the aunt of Ronald Ahlquist of Tewksbury, Richard Ahlquist of Hudson, NH, Wayne Ahlquist of ME and Adele Long and Ernest Ahlquist both of GA.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 11AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 9AM. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
