Edith Anne Morss

 

Edith Anne Morss, age 82, of Duxbury passed away Thursday, September 28 at the Bay Path Nursing and Rehab Center in Duxbury.

 

Born in Woburn on October 9, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Ida E. (DiCicco) Eramo.

 

Edith was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1959. She settled in the town of Abington to raise her children. Edith loved interior decorating both for herself and her family members and she loved to cook. She also enjoyed traveling with her sisters, together the three of them had visited many memorable locations across the world. She had worked for many years at Talbots; but her most important vocation was family; they were of the utmost importance to Edith.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth A. Pretorius and her husband Eric of Plymouth; her two sons, Dana W. Morss of Bridgewater and Kurt J. Morss of Brockton; her two sisters, Dorothy L. Braswell of Danville, CA and Linda S. Toce of Stoneham; her three grandchildren, Kerynn, Joseph and Kallie; and her three great grandchildren, Broeden, Keirden, and Irelyn.

 

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 4 at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10am. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NVNA and Hospice Charitable Fund, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
