Edward Lusardi

Edward Joseph Lusardi, 84, of Whitman MA, formerly of Somerville MA, passed away on July 24th at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Somerville on July 10, 1938, he was the son of the late Natale and Lucy (DiFazio) Lusardi.

Mr. Lusardi was raised and educated in Somerville. He was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1956 and Bentley College. Ed was a retired accountant. He served in the Army National Guard. Ed enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and extended family. You could always catch him with a cup of coffee and reading the paper each morning, like clockwork.

He was the boyfriend and partner of Dottie Reis. He was the husband of the late Frances (Bennett) Lusardi and is survived by his son Paul Lusardi of Lebanon, Oregon, his daughter Diane Glidden of Weare, New Hampshire, his brother Robert Lusardi of Stoneham, and his sister Ann Grimaldi of Tewksbury. Mr. Lusardi is also survived by his nine grandchildren; Michael, Anthony, Mary Rose, Catherine, Elizabeth, Anne Marie, Gianna, Rebecca, Matthew, Parker, Adam, Jonathan, Mikayla, MacKenzie, Connor, Cullen and his two great grandchildren; Isabelle and Collette.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Monday, August 1 at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
