Elaine McCauley

Elaine McCauley, age 74, of Reading, formerly of Wakefield, passed away suddenly on Sunday March 1, at Winchester Hospital.

She was born in Waltham, MA on November 3, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Manuel and Elizabeth (Talbot) Souza.

Elaine was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1970. She was a longtime employee of the Guillow Corporation. Elaine was an avid gardener and was involved with both her daughters’ time in Reading high’s marching band.

She was the beloved wife of the late William D. McCauley Jr. of Reading. She was the loving mother of Lisa McCauley of Sandown, NH., and Sara McCauley of Reading. She was the sister of Ronnie Souza and his wife Lorna of Biddeford, Maine. She is also survived by a niece and nephew, and two grandnieces.

Her Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Friday March 6, at 12 noon. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral on Friday prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
