Eleanor M Elliott, age 92 of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday august 18 at the Lahey Clinic Medical center in Bulington.
She was born in Medford on April 26, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Howard and Florence (Lane) Miller.
Eleanor was a 40 year member of the Rebeccas Assembly, where she served several Officer Posts.
She was a Dental Receptionist for Albert Simkins of Wakefield, which closed in 2012 when Al retired from his practice. Eleanor retired at the same time.
Eleanor is a 60 year member of the First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield, the stone church by the lake. She served several church posts during her years. She sang in the choir, and in the last 15 years she served as the church Collector.
Eleanor is the beloved wife of her late husband Carlton Elliott age 94. They where married for 57 years, and had celebrated there 50th wedding anniversary in 2008, before Carlton's passing in 2015. She is the loving mother of Robert Elliott of Perry, Florida, Brian Elliott of Wakefield, and Dana Elliott of Westborough.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday September 1st from 4 to 7 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 2nd at 10AM in the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church Street, Wakefield. Interment to follow at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
After the Internment Service has concluded, all are then welcome back to the Fist Parish Congregational Church for a luncheon in the vestry, for a meet and greet to share about Eleanor's amazing life.
