Erik Martinez

Erik T . Martinez , age 28, of North Reading, died on Wednesday, September 8 at the Winchester Hospital.

He was born in Malden on July 16, 1993 and was the son of Efrain and Sheila (Copland) Martinez of North Reading.

Erik was a graduate of Northeast Regional Vocational School in Wakefield. He had recently worked for Fitzgerald Tile.

He was the loving brother of Alyssa Martinez and devoted uncle of Desiree and Mia, all of North Reading. He was the beloved nephew of Lesley LaCava and cousin to Tony and Devon LaCava all of Wakefield. He also leaves behind his two dogs Hudson and Rambo.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Animal Shelter of Salem MA or MSPCA of Methuen MA.
