Ethel Knight

Ethel M . Knight of Wakefield died Monday February 1 in Winchester at age 87. Born in Wilmington on November 9, 1922 she was the daughter of the late William & Elizabeth (Nimblett) Slatting. Mrs. Knight was raised in Reading and Wilmington. She was retired from the Marshall's Department Stores and was also a member of St. Joseph Church.

Mrs. Knight was the wife of the late John L. Knight , Jr. She was the mother of John L. Knight , III of Panama City, FL and Sharon A. Heselton of No. Reading. She was the sister of Agnes Lawn of Wakefield and the late David, William & Robert Slatting. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham Friday ay 9am to be followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday 3-7 pm.
