Evelyn M . Polito , 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, formerly of Somerville died on Tuesday, February 19 in Stafford Springs, CT.

Ms. Polito was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was past owner and administrator for Polito Bros. Oil Company in Somerville.

Loving mother of James Polito of Melrose, Robert Polito of Baltimore, MD , Vincent Polito of Westport, CT. and Janet Polito of Yarmouthport. Beloved grandmother of Christian and Francesca. Former wife of Vincent D. Polito .

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Saturday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Friday 4-8pm.
