Frank E. Strom, born August 6, 1964, passed away on December 28 after suffering a cardiac arrest. He leaves brother Vincent Strom of Miami, FL, Aunt Hedwig A. Sanni of Lynnfield, MA, and cousins Paul Sanni and Piper Rankine of Wakefield, MA, Andrea and Chris Cole of Topsfield, MA, Frank and Rosalia Sanni of Riverside, CT, Christine Sanni of Dresher, PA, Karen Seif of Flourtown, PA, Joanne Brown of Chelmsford, MA, Don Sanni of Nashua, NH, and David Sanni of Atlanta, GA. He was predeceased by parents Angela M. Strom (Sanni) and Joseph E. Strom, Uncle Casper G. Sanni, Uncle Dominic Sanni, and Aunt Theresa Sanni.
Frank spent his early life in Revere, graduating from Pope John XXII in Everett and moving to Everett as an adult. Frank was a valued employee of Lineage Logistics for more than a decade. A talented cartoonist, artist, and scriptwriter, Frank had many credits over the years with Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Archie Comics, and Antarctica Press and other publishers. He was an early fan of Japanese animation and sci fi, including Godzilla and Yamato, and a collector of comics and action figures. Frank was an avid follower of championship figure skating, attending many competitions and capturing the artistry and athleticism of skaters in his drawings. Frank enjoyed going to a good Chinese buffet and listening to live music. He could often be seen at Boston area clubs where he loved to hear and support local punk bands. He was a devoted fan of Patti Smith and the Ramones.
Frank will be missed by many who loved him and enjoyed his sense of humor, wit, and goodness of spirit.
Services and celebration of life will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a favorite charity in Frank’s memory.
