George William Erwin

George William Erwin, 69, of Wakefield, died on Friday, March 31 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on May 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Leo F. and Eileen (Berard) Erwin.

Mr. Erwin was a retired Senior 2^nd level Tech Support Analyst for Marriott International.  He was a member of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield.  Mr. Erwin loved to take care of his family and enjoyed traveling to Italy and Disney World.  He was also an avid sports fan.

Mr. Erwin is survived by his beloved wife Karen T. (Caggiano) Erwin, his loving daughter Kimberly Erwin of Wakefield, his son Corey Erwin and his wife Stephanie of Nashua, New Hampshire, his three grandchildren: Sadie, Cole and Gianna, his sister Sandra Williams and her husband Roy of Leonardo, New Jersey, and his brother Frank Erwin of Connecticut.  He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Williams.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9:30 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10:30am.  Entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Everett. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-7pm.
