Geraldine Eaton

Geraldine B . Eaton , 89, of Danvers, and a 40 year resident of Wakefield, died on Thursday, June 19 at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.

Born in Boston on June 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Hermanus and Sophia M. (Spits) Biesenbeek.

Mrs. Eaton was a native of South Boston and was a retired secretary from Wellman, Inc. of Boston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church while living in Wakefield and later lived in Boxford and Raleigh, NC.

Mrs. Eaton was the wife of the late Winston W. Eaton who died in 1989. She is survived by her son, Winston W. Eaton , Jr. of Raleigh, NC, her daughter, Deborah Hayward-Eaton of Oxford, England and two grandchildren, Katherine Anne and Tyler Winston Eaton . She was also the sister of Aletta Thorne.

Her funeral will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 12 P.M. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral on prior to the service starting at 11 AM. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Boxford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Walter H. and Alberta Eaton Scholarship, C/O Wakefield CSF, P.O. Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880.
