Geraldine Britner

Geraldine M. Britner (Giblin) of Wakefield formerly of Watertown died on Monday, June 17 at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.

Geraldine was born in Watertown on September 24, 1942 and was the daughter of the late James K. and Rose M. (Conway) Giblin.

Geraldine was raised in Watertown and was a graduate of St. Columbkille High School of Brighton. She was a longtime resident of Watertown and had worked for the former Coolidge Square Theater and later the Watertown Public Schools. She had been a Wakefield resident since 2006.

Geraldine was the beloved wife of Henry I. Britner, Jr. She was the loving mother of Gerrilyn M. Ryan & husband Matthew, and Leigh Ann Britner. She was the sister of James, Joseph and John Giblin and the late Sheila Deppner. She was the grandmother of Kristine R. Ryan, Evan T. Britner and Jaelyn G. Britner.
