Helen V. Amirault, age 84 of Wakefield died at home on October 6, 2026.
She was born in Melrose, MA on October 13,1941 and was the daughter of the late William and Alma (Malonson) Meuse.
She was raised and educated in Wakefield and had worked for the former Transitron Electronics Corporation, the Fraen Corporation and later retired from Analog Devices. She loved to travel with Betty and other family and friends. Most usual trips were Nova Scotia, Canada, Disney World and a special family cruise in 2012. She was a member of the Peabody YMCA and was a member of the “Aqua Divas Breakfast Club” and remained friends with the other members to the end. She was also a member of the” Rappie Pie Fete Club”.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. Amirault, the love of her life who she dearly missed after his passing. She was the loving mother of Christine M. Spector and her husband John of Wakefield, Elizabeth A. Muise of Rowley and the late Jean Marie March. She was the sister of the late William, Wilfred, Catherine and Elizabeth Meuse and Marion Cooper. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by two of her grandchildren Justin A. Thomas and John R. Spector.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church 173 Albion Street Wakefield on Tuesday October 13 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Avenue Wakefield on Monday October 12 from 4-7 pm.
