Helen was born in Boston on June 27,1931 and was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Turney) Devine.
Helen devoted her life to loving her family, sharing her joy of life with others and volunteering to those in need. Helen leaves a legacy of love, acceptance, faith and the power of prayer.
Helen was the beloved wife of M. Leo Tierney. She was the loving mother of Kenneth and Jane Tierney, Laura and Joseph Samaro, Mary Lou and Benjamin Calos, Martin and Linda Tierney and Kathleen and David Danis. She was the beloved grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 18 at St Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham MA at 10:00 am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham, MA, Sunday, March 17 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Interment at St Patrick's Cemetery Stoneham.
